Looking good, what did you use to paint the smoke box with?

Are you going to Nickel plate the smokebox door handles?

With best wishes

Looking good, and like your blue on the perch bracket, are you going to use gold for the lining ?

I am not sure if it is Ex-Mayor blue like Robs is using, its a one of a kind colour well...its a Cross between the Ex-Mayor blue 4000, Fowler Renown 15653, The Big A 1563, Pickfords blue. Its darker than the picture. Realy wanted a colour to show off the Brass and Plate works, Black paint on the smoke box+clylinder block, and the claret red wheels, picture to follow....{Curranty painting} and putting 400 Fliping rivet screw in a belly tank!

He he, just getting to the belly tank assembly myself. I have had it for a while now but decided I need to get a move on as the Tender will be finished painting soon and the belly tank is next for paint (thanks to Nick!!). I do have a couple of steam apprentices for the fiddly rivet bolts as they got away without doing any on the tender.

Roll on the Christmas holidays, a cou0ple of days will be sepnt getting the belly tank finished. Toolbox is done already.
