Wheel Rivets

Hello,
Can you tell me how the wheel rivet bolts work. do they have hex heads that you file into a rivet shape? i know this must be a simple question for all the seasoned engine builders but it is one of the things i am unsure of

the bolts supplied are slot-less dome heads (just like a rivet with a thread on it) you simply put the nut on the back and do it up, keeping it all in place with a bit of lock-tight.
