well sort of, but we can't really pack kits "out of sequence" as it buggers up the ones that go into stock.

we will get them out as soon as we can, its in our interests as well you know Wink

Foden Motion Kits

Post  atomenter on Tue Dec 21, 2010 10:46 pm

Hi Guys
Kit 15 Crankcshaft and Conrods arrived this morning - thank goodness it wasn't sent Royal Mail Parcelforce as it would still be in a depot waiting for the snow to clear (along with all the posties)!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all at STW and all fellow builders

Regards

Watch your fingers on the keyways and splines, I have a nice couple of cuts where I was less careful than I should have been Sad

Does look a bit strange as it appears to be the only part painted.

the painted flywheel is actually part of the old model works stock and was a customer return. on the original design, part of the outer rim was fouling on something or other and there was a recall and modification done.

not all the ones sent back were modified so we simply made the alterations to them as a when we made the new batch to the correct spec. i guess no one could be bothered to sand blast the paint off so this one ended up on the control model. Rolling Eyes

just a bit of new for anyone who is still waiting for piston rings.

our original supplier is one of these small one man band places. you usually get very good components from places like this but the down side is that things take time.

due to the fact that the foden builders really need these parts to progress any further we have managed to find a new supplier for these and we should have them soon. i'll post more info when i get it.
