yes i did nick, i spoke to him today after he told me about the new models.

he is still working on the design but in all honesty he's working on it in between bits for the showman's. he is getting back to it very soon and it WILL be going into production, after all, we need to keep putting stuff out to keep the company going.

i'll try and get him to post something soon Neutral

PS: sorry i forgot to get back to you Embarassed

Nick,

The 2" Showmans is a while away. To market a product and build a sizeable batch takes many months so we need to think a long way ahead. There is the design to do, flyers to produce, website to alter, adverts to be placed and after all that if we get a decent production run we need to order material for the first kit and finally start manufacture. No other company manufacture any where near the quantaties we manage to sell or produce and part of that is we are constantly looking ahead.

The 2" engine is planned for when the 4" wagon and water bowser have been completed. The wagon will run for 3 or 4 months (can't remember which and i'm at home) and then then bowser will either be one kit or two. The 2" Showman's will then slot in nicely just after these, filling the gap in production output and revenue perfectly.

I hope this helps explain the situation and why we need to think quite a while in front.

All the best

Dean

Dean I get the undertakings of expanding the range (there's a lot to consider) i was just giving Craig a gentle nudge as we are all waiting to see the design for the water bowser that steve has been busy doing along with what the cost is going to be.
Craig had planned to ask Steve last week.

cheers

Nick,

I am almost certain the bowser will be somewhere along the 750 mark. I'm sort of tempted to keep it as a single kit, this way there is only one lot of shipping and it's easier to stock control. It doesn't mean we can't do it as two payments though to spread the cost.

ha ha, yes the horn-plates did go out today. we got more done than expected this morning so we arranged for the courier to come in the afternoon.

yeah, i was going to chase up the bowser cart and i did forget, sorry. Steve had been busy designing the belly tank for the showman's, and i had been ordering materials for showman's kit 3 and lyka kit 4 and it did slip my mind.

i really have no problems with you prodding me on here, feel free to prod as much as you like Laughing

i think steve has now finished the design. we plan to make this after the 4inch wagon. the wagon has 4 kits, hopefully starting this month if we can get the work done (but if not next month) and then the bowser will start after that.

number of kits and price is steve and deans area.

here's a pic for you...
