Hi Tenbore
Hawkins inspection Services Ltd
9 Canal Road, Yapton, West Sussex BN180HA, GB
07872 903401 or 01243 554623
might be worth a ring hey they can only say no.
Have you got your liability insurance in place as without you probably wont be allowed to steam your engine at a show?
I use Walker Midgley for insurance (01142502770) they sent me a list of independent boiler inspectors that unfortunately I am unable to find oops.
incidentally they insure your trailers workshop equipment and all sorts of things that you probably wont have thought about.

Re: Boiler test
I use Peter as do a fair few of us, so he is very use to STW engines and he built and owned one of their early Agri's, he can get quite busy as he does a lot of full size stuff as well. Or if you belong to a model engineering club they will be able to do it.
Like Simon I use Walker Midgley for insurance.

Re: Boiler test
Hi
All STW boilers are CE marked. The maker plate is normally visible in the crank pit.

On our 2" copper boilers the test pressure, working pressure, serial number, date of manufacture and the CE mark are normaly stamped into the copper at the bottom of the boiler backhead. this is normaly visable from underneath looking from the tender, with the ashpan removed.
