Hi

You got me at the moment. I do not currently have access to the drawings.

1/4 bsp but if the hand valves don't pass then why break the clacks from the boiler?
The other way is to slide a shim between the boiler and the clack then re tighten the M6 studs.

Hi

You can perform a hydraulic test yourself without a pump. Blank the safety valves with the plate. Fill right up with water. Put in to full reverse gear and wind the flywheel forward. This will pump up the engine. Did this to a Dcc showman at Chipping last year for a in the field leak test.

I have a test pump so I might shut the valves ,pump it up and see what happens .

For a belt & braces approach I've fitted a bolt to the safety valve blanking plate to hold down the regulator puck. Just hand tight is enough but sometimes without it it can let by & be a pain. Never known anyone have a problem with the clacks on a hydraulic test.
No doubt someone has though! but not down our way.
