Diff bushing

Post  bazzer on Sat 25 Jun 2016, 6:53 am

Hi all,
I am test assembling the diff, on the instructions it says to install the compensating centre bush flush to opposite end to the end with a chamfer, both ends appear to be same on the centre, no chamfer.
The bush has a lip on the end where the diff lock pins go, I assume this has got to tight to the centre, this means the other end of the bush is proud by around 1mm.
Question is, does anyone know if this correct ?

Thanks
Barry

Hi,

I'm building the SCC but I guess it is the same. I have built it exactly as you said and the bush does sit proud by about 1mm. Everything moves freely for me.

Cheers

Alan
