Brass cleaning

Post  LiveSteam on Mon 21 Mar 2016, 12:23 pm

Got the boiler bands off the Agri currently and wondered if there was a quick way to get them nice and shiny again, so far the best way is Peek and the polishing cloth Rolling Eyes
Just wondered if anyone had a lazy mans/womans way ???

Must admit I'm suspecting theres no easy option but a large tin of elbow grease, that and some Peek Polish, should have kept up the polishing regime really but then the whole engine has a working look rather than a bling machine Laughing

I use a dome/pudding bowl cotton polishing mop in the battery drill. Polishes up bands and Oliver's in place nice and quick.

Dremel with a dome mop end. dipped in autosol cream. (like Peek).

does wonders and saves your fingers.

Or is it the case of "The wife will not take a shine to that."
