Owners in Honiton, Devon.

Post  PhilW on Sun 21 Feb 2016, 7:24 am

I have recently bought a (pre-owned) 4" scale Burrell traction engine (I don't think it's STW), delivery expected in March after boiler test. I was wondering if there are other owners of 4" (or 6") scale engines in Honiton or nearby area I could contact and pick their brains on the finer points of running an engine of this size. I have not owned one before. Phil W

Engine delivered Mon 29th Feb. The weather at the moment doesn't allow any thoughts on getting steam -up.

Hi Mike,
Can't see a way of putting images on a message, I tried 'host an image' but it didn't work, but if you PM me your email address I can send them that way. Phil
