Hi Ian
I built the john rex wagon about 8 or 9 years ago and changed it to j type
I thought about the 6" but could not stretch the funds
I have tried to get john rex to get on with his castings and drawings for the 6" he is doing but they are not ready yet
I would like to do a 6" swb as I think that would be the best of both worlds ie good size but shorter and good amount of water
on board Perhaps the next stw project?
what are your thoughts ?
mark

Hi Mark, well to be honest I have built the 4.5" SWB and just wanted to build something bigger, the reason I decided on the "C" type as opposed to another SWB is I just love all that lovely Ash timber.
