Hello fellow builders

im a while off this yet but i thought i would get a head start ready, having been playing with a 4 Burrell for the last few weekends it got me thinking, what grade oils do people use for there engines, we used two one for the bearings and another for the lubricator

Yes different oils.

I started on Morris steam oil but got advised to change away from it as the composition has changed and a few friend have had problems with it.

(Currently having a brain fart) forgot what make I am now using. The bearing is a lot thicker than what I use to use and lasts longer before dropping out the bottom. The cylinder oil seams to be a lot better on inspection of the bores..

I now remember Hallett oils.

Bearing oil. LB460C.
cylinder oil. SCO680CT.

Also got. And it does what it says on the tin.
Locoklean. 22. 25l.

Add vat.
