July Production

Post  Heavyhaul on Sat 05 Jul 2014, 5:05 am

Hi Craig,

Great pictures thanks for the updates. When do you think the 4" DCC smokeboxes will be finished for the showmans, i see from the pictures that kit 3a is ready for packing and collection. Dean did mention that us showman builders would be getting two kits, Kits 3 and 3a the last time i was at Daventry at the beginning of June.

Best Regards
Steve Honey (Heavyhaul)

Not sure what the question is? those were the last 8 of the Initial batch of 6" Foden boilers, we are currently progressing 4.5" foden boilers (awaiting some inner firebox wrappers before we can complete construction).

I'm building a foden from the first batch so wonder if one of those 8 boilers was mine Smile

Looks like it is then! Laughing

I'll have to arrange to collect sometime. I'm currently in the middle of the north sea until early next week so if Isabell has tried to phone she wont get through, she did say she would email though.

What's the latest on the large smokebox box name ring for the 4" DCC?

Will this months kit be the tender body?

Cheers,

Chris.
