Thanks Lynn
Brian called me yesterday to wish me well as I was meant to be up with you all.
I here you have been playing with little billy while he is up north with Brian.

Does your workshop have a beer engine on the bench too??

You should have come down with Lynn and had some Lancashire hospitality and a whole week of fun. There will come a time when I come up your way later in the year so I would like to arrange with Lynn that we meet up, maybe we can steam three engines together (including yours I mean).

Re: Lynn Robinson. Showman Scenic Part 2
Well managed to get out to Crystal today. Got a look at the lubricator.
I am happy but also annoyed. I got the lubricator working perfect again even with the new thicker oil. BUT had I taken the end nut off the lubricator pump output. I would have found the problem. A little bit of "rubber" thing stuck between the ball and the spring. Removed object. Removed everything else to check. All is perfect. Rebuilt assembly and the lubricator works perfect again!!!!
I could have done this while she was in steam at the party. But it turned out good anyway as I had more time for the photos.
Just to find where a nut has came loose from. Found one on the trailer bed when I got home, after the party, under the tender area. So need to investigate.

Re: Lynn Robinson. Showman Scenic Part 2
I hope Tony King does not see this picture, the shiny valve stand out amongst the workaday look around it
When are we going to light a fire in his engine? Hopefully when I come up for the wagons, I will bring Blackbeard so we can both go to Tony's and encourage him.

Re: Lynn Robinson. Showman Scenic Part 2
Great photos Lynne keep them coming. Is the bucket to collect donations for your favourite charity or perhaps something else?. Love the colour you have chosen for your trailer cover .Most appropriate for your showmans engine. Are you by any chance visiting GDSF this year? PM me if you are as would like to meet the leading light for the STW showmans and road loco fraternity. Kind regards Shane

Re: Lynn Robinson. Showman Scenic Part 2
Hi Shane
Sorry but I will not be at Dorset. It is actually too big for my liking. Also not enought funds and holidays to allow it.
The bucket was collecting for the local charity. Got over £90 in it. Spent most of the two days steaming around the site. Taking passengers where ever I got stopped or when I was doing circuits of the main ring and stopping in the same location. crystal was a great hit.
