If you mean Astle Park in Cheshire which is the weekend of 10th & 11th August then we will be there with a stand.

All the best

Hi Andy,

I think 4 STW Engines will be turning up over the weekend; two Showmans and two RL (not too sure if Peter is coming with his RL but hopefully); I have just started my roof so will be in a panic till then to get it finished and I don't think Brian M will be steaming as he will not have a ticket in time. Pop over for a beer

There will be about 12 miniatures as that is all they allocate good fun though don't know what STW will be bringing.

Andy

I am one of the 4 Dwain mentioned so look forward to seeing you again. Still need to clean Blackbeard after my 18 mile road trip before I went on holiday.

Dwain

Make sure you have a push pole handy so I can tow Brian's showmans engine around.

Good to meet you also Andy. Yesterday was the first time running at a rally, it was funny as I was keeping the engine at 150 psi most of the day. I had Steve over a few times as I kept saying STEVE Can you ... so I have to say I big thank you to Steve for coming across.

Ann, (Brian's wife) looked after us all the weekend, it was top draw and the meals were lovely, tea all day (and beer at night). The best bit for us is that three of us had a beer from Steve's box (offered by Dean) as Dean only had larger. Good weekend.

Brian thanks for looking after us and see you in two weeks. By the way did you keep STW glasses:twisted: Twisted Evil

Dwain

Great weekend, good to finally meet up with you and Brian again, this time with finished engines. I left the glasses by your tools so thought you had picked them up. Someone definitely nicked one of my chocks too.

Good to briefly see Andy again too, looking forward to see what pictures he managed to get.

Sorry to Steve and Dean for destruction testing anther wagon, I hope the "apprentice" who put it together has been suitable thrashed!!!!  monkey
