Best steam oil ?? Quick answer please

Post  highpressure on Mon 24 Jun 2013, 4:50 pm

Ned to buy some steam oil, going past Heritage Steam Supplies, which is the ideal grade for us? I was going to ask for compound but I believe there are different grades?

These are the choices on the website....

Cheers Kev.

Out of those I would go compound T as its for wet steam. Although ring and ask Stuart is the best answer Very Happy he knows his stuff. You'll find different people swear by different oils. I use Whitham oil as its local on the fowler. Don't notice any lack of lubrication while its in bits
