Zintec Cladding

Post  MrStationHouse on Wed 22 May 2013, 2:03 am

Hi All,

I have just taken my cladding to be painted and Adam was worried about the longevity of paint on the Zintec and getting it to stick and stay stuck. I am using craftmaster paints. Does anyone have any thoughts and observations to share.

Have those who have steamed got on OK?

Do let me know.

With best wishes
Simon

I sanded mine off with 180 grit sanding discs but I'm not in steam yet . Then primed with craftmaster red oxide.

Zintec Steel should to my mind have an Etch Primer on it. We replaced all the aluminium sheet on our Showmans Living Van with Zintech a few years back, it did however come ready primed
