Thank you.

Post  Steam Traction World on Wed 04 Jul 2012, 1:33 am

Well, Its the start of our 5th year so just like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has not only bought our products but also to everyone who has supported us since Steve and I took over.

Things have changed massively since day one....Who would of thought:

We'd now own our own building
We have a brand new CNC machine on the way
The new models - Road Loco, Showman's etc would be such an outstanding success
We'd even venture in to the 6" market with a half scale Foden
Over 120 people every month would build one of our kits

and even more suprisingly........................

Craig & Mark can now program a lathe!!

Below is proof that after 4 years of us moaning at him Craig did actually start learning the lathes!!

Above are just a few of the things we have achieved in what seems a relatively short period of time. There are so many other things like how successful the forum has been (only need 3 more registered users to reach the 400 mark!), manufacturing all our own boilers, meeting the targets we set when taking over etc etc etc, that too list them all means i would be here all day.

But one thing for certain is.......................

We couldn't have done it without every single one of you (customers and staff).............so for that we are humbly grateful.

Here's to the start of year 6,

All the best

Dean & Steve.
If life gives you lemons....make lemon curd!!

A success well deserved by all you guys at STW. Very Happy
It took alot of guts to take the plunge into this "teratory" especially with the new "untried" products. Also, given the general economic situation, you have continued to be very successful.................... So, that says more about your products than anything!!
You make hundreds of us "enthusiasts" very happy every month with the eagely awaited kits, which at the end of the builds will be very individual machines in all colours, to be admired by many many people.
Here's looking forward to your 10th Birthday!!
Regards,
Tony

All at STW

You all deserve a big pat on the back (the kind you get from a friendly hand not a bovine one Twisted Evil )

It is good to see a small engish company doing well in these tough times, and one that is good to do business with.

Don't forget that as part of your 6th year you need to organise a gathering of all the DCC Burrells at an event next year - that will be when you see how far you have really come with the reaction from non-customers and the rest of the steam/preservation movement to your first new design.

Now were is my next kit???????? cheers

Cheers

I'm gonna have to pop over some time for a cuppa...
I wonder if a 3" fowler or Burrell r/loco would be on the cards?
Just something a little bigger than the 2" yet still easy enough to transport...
Or,maybe a 2" r/loco??? That'd be bloody superb hint hint hint hint cough cough hint..
On a serious note tho,ya done well there, I remember well the old premises and I know the new place is a much brighter and cleaner layout..
Hopefully see ya at beds rally (IF I get bookin form sent)
Take it easy and all the best in the future (tempt me with promises of a 2" loco)
Was nice speaking with ya again the other day Isobel..

Kind Regards

LilyJack ...... aka ..... Al'
