Likamobile or Lykamobile
Hi all Likamobile owners,
Please can we keep the name Likamobile and let the new ones be Lykamobiles?
I like my Lika and will report on its progress shortly.

Re: Likamobile or Lykamobile
Hi Augustrock,
I have engraved hub caps and a plate on the front with Likamobile on my car and that is how i intend to leave it. We have changed the 'i' to a 'y' because of 2 reasons. Firstly quite a number of people used to call it a 'lick-a-mobile' as that was how they perceived it to read. We wanted to try to ensure that if someone was talking about the STW car, they at least called it the correct name. By changing it to a 'y' it became more obvious to us that it would then read ly-ka-mobile. After all it is supposed to be 'like a locomobile' hence the name.
Secondly we wanted to differentiate between the MW's car and the one we will manufacture. The car we intend to produce will have any minor problems the MW's car had ironed out, plus further improvements, possibly a new style boiler.
