Great pics Tony. I have not started painting my engine yet, I have spent lhe last 6 months building bathrooms for my daughter and a 1 to 200 scale model of the Titanic. The painting process was to be for this summer but I have put it on hold pending the outcome ( successful I hope ) of the rescue bid. I would be interested to know if you sprayed and how you did the lining. The paint job will be my first venture and i have no experiance of this process, although I have read the books .

Burrell Boiler Arrive Today!

Post  wallsie68 on Mon 01 Sep 2008, 8:54 pm

My 2" Burrell Boiler arrived today! Couldn't resist a quick balancing act to see how it all fits.

My painting is a bit behind schedule with only the front axle its final colour! However, I have no excuse now that I know it all fits together with the boiler.

Well done to STW for a first class job...

Ok so I didn't follow Julias instructions!

Post  Big Al on Tue 09 Sep 2008, 8:23 pm

It wouldn't let me edit so try this!

Didn't have any problems with it all slotting together. Fitted like a glove but I need a bigger bench and its bl**dy heavy!

Hello All
Upon receiving the boiler I could not resist the temptation to temprarily bolt on some of the main items.
The fixing holes for these items all lined up accurately.
Wel done STW.
