Time for an update
Excellent news,I've have been offered a job with the Royal Mail, and of course,I've taken it.
I have a start date in August after a boys weekend away with the kids at Knebworth House (Sonisphere Festival)
Let the good times roll!
Now it's time to convince the family that a 4" showmans isn't such a bad idea
cheer's Tony

Re: So What Do You Do?
this is a Welton chest of drawers it can pull out for a writing desk but I will not do that as it is well used.

And last this is one of my small chest of drawers it thands just 11 & 1/2 inches tall.

The top is dovetailed as are the drawers

Hughb - never hide your light under a bushel. From someone who can't cut a straight line in wood even with power tools they are amazing.
