Interesting Listing on EBay
Hi Guys,
Interesting listing on Ebay for those of you who fancy something that's totally unique and have more money than they know what to do with.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170355463702
Please feel free to bid and tell anyone you may know who'd be interested. Before you ask it's not available on the monthly plan or as a kit!
All the best
Dean & Steve

I think to buy this they'll need a bit more than lead in their pencils. Gold, Diamond or even Kryptonite maybe

Re: Interesting Listing on EBay
Mark,
Thats the second time. First time it was listed it was removed because Steve put 'he had it advertised elsewhere' and then this morning they removed it because it said 'would not accept Paypal'
I think it's criminal myself, they force you to use their own payment method so they can make more commision on something they've already charged the earth for. If you then chose not to they remove it!
It's now been relisted starting at 9pm tonight under item number 170356212787.
Regards
Dean

Re: Interesting Listing on EBay
Hi Bungle
In answer to your question about why I'm selling my engine. It's not a simple one sentence answer. Like many things in life there are a multitude of factors affecting my decision. Briefly; I enjoy building rather than playing. I've had a lot of enjoyment out of the engine for the last few years, the amount of rallies I can attend is now quite limited. I want to build something else, not decided what yet but the contenders so far are: 6" Burrell 8nhp DCC agricultural, 9" Foden like the one Mick Cox has built and then theres a 6" version of the Chain Track (all 5 tons of it!). I've been thinking about selling it for a while, what made my mind up was when a 4" Scenic became available. That would greatly help our marketing of the new designs which is so important to us for at least the first six months of any new production run. The business would find it difficult to raise the cash especially with the new lathe, our intended move of premices and the 'Steam Car Challenge'. It just seemed to make sense for me to buy it, if I can sell my engine.

Steve
