Hi All,

We are pleased to let everyone know that as a forward thinking company we have invested in the future by purchasing a new CNC machine from HAAS.

The lathe we have purchased is the very newest in technology with full driven tooling and a 'C' Axis meaning that the majority of turned jobs will no longer need secondary operations on a milling machine.

The machine also comes with the very latest servo barfeeder capable of barfeeding up to 3" diameter bar. This reduces the ...

Hi All,

After 12 months intensive searching we have finally found a new premises and verbally come to an agreement with a new landlord.

This building is perfectly suited to our needs, at around 5000 square feet. Not only will it allow us to reduce our overheads and set the building up how we want it, it will also improve our internal efficiency and importantly to the rest of the staff, Steve and I, it will make us feel like it is ours.

The building is still situated in Daventry ...

Hi All,

We are pleased announce that we have recently employed another CNC Milling Programmer, Craig Wash.

We have known Craig for many years as a skilled machinist and have no doubt he will settle in with us in no time at all. Craig was recently made redundant by a local engineering firm and we felt we could not miss the opportunity to strengthen our team by taking him on.

This did mean that we had let a different member of staff go and although this was the correct business ...

If you visit the 'About us' link on the left hand side of the home page on the website you will notice that we have added a few lines about ourselves and the staff. We hope to expand on this soon by adding all the staff members, so customers old and new, have an insight as to who they are dealing with, who does what at the factory and a bit of background history about each of us.

A Steam Traction World Flickr group has been setup for us all to upload images of our products, either complete, part finished or during construction.

We would welcome images of models and life size steam engines and invite photos of engines, components, steam fairs, your workshop and interests - anything that you think fellow Steam Traction World enthusiasts would enjoy. You can comment on individual pictures posted by others, ask questions and get involved - enjoy!

Hi All,

Hopefully you will have noticed that over the last few weeks we have been steadily changing and adding to the website. Many thanks to Nick Price for doing such a fantastic job. Hopefully the free advertising means he will give us a discount!

As well as recently adding the product pages, you will now notice that we have added a couple of substantial changes/improvements. The first new addition is the online shop facilty. Eventually we intend to add every single part in our ...
